About the Event
The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is the pinnacle event of the training year for the 1705 Royal Canadian Army Cadets, a proud and time-honoured tradition that marks the culmination of each cadet’s hard work, growth, and dedication. This formal parade and celebration brings together cadets, families, staff, dignitaries, and community members to honour the accomplishments and milestones achieved throughout the year.
The ACR is more than just a parade, it’s a showcase of skill, discipline, and teamwork. Leading up to the event, cadets work together in small groups to create interactive displays and demonstrations highlighting the knowledge and abilities they’ve developed over the year. These stations often include elements such as fieldcraft and survival skills, marksmanship, drill and deportment, navigation, expedition training, citizenship, and leadership development. Guests are invited to tour these displays, engage with cadets, and see firsthand how much they’ve learned and grown.
